Appalachian Mountain Club in Mexico Journal
One journal written by various members of the Appalachian Mountain Club as they traveled through Mexico on a thirty-three-day excursion between February and March 1939. The journal entries are chronologically bound, approximately one page in length each, typewritten, and initialed by the club member writing for the day. The first page includes a list of names and addresses for the members on the excursion.

Photographs measure approximately 6¾” x 8¾” and are captioned on versos, though some captions are partly trimmed. Photographs show public celebrations and parades, portraits of Argentinians, and landmarks such as the Banco de la Nación and Central Station of Ferrocarril del Sud.
