Biographical / Historical
Axalla Hoole, 1822-1863, was born in South Carolina. He fought for the Confederacy with the South Carolina Infantry, having served in the US Army in the "Bloody Kansas" 1850s. He was Probate Judge of Douglas County, Kansas, and died at the Battle of Chickamaugwa, September 1863.
