Mexican Government Actions in 1828-1830 Broadsides

Scope and Contents This collection of two broadsides contains printings of governmental actions taken in Mexico after gaining independence and before the Mexican War. The first broadside, published in 1828, is a Finance Commission update to taxes in Tamaulipas. The second broadside, printed in 1830, is a decree repealing restrictions placed upon Spaniards in Mexico. Both broadsides were printed by Samuel Bangs and are written in Spanish.
