Scope and Contents

Ephemera appear to be related to three elections or votes: municipal versus commission control, a 1916 Bessemer election, and the 1930 Alabama senate election. Individuals associated with the Bessemer election are Ben G. Perry, Thomas W. Benton, and Al Smith. Materials concerning the senate election include mention of the Heflin-Locke Club and a newspaper clipping of the Alabama vote total for the senate election.
