Biographical / Historical

Henrietta Fontaine McCormick, daughter of William and Henrietta Fontaine Copeland McCormick, was born on December 6, 1904, in Eufaula, Alabama. She met Alabama Congressman Joseph Lister Hill in 1926. They married on February 20, 1928, and had two children: Henrietta Fontaine and Luther Lister. She died in Montgomery, Alabama, on March 23, 1986.
