Whitman Family Papers
The Whitman Family Papers contain correspondence, diaries, photographs, clippings, books, and memorabilia related to the members of this prominent New England family, particularly Jason Whitman (1799-1848), a Unitarian minister in Portland, Maine, and Lexington, Massachusetts; and Bernard and Minnie Hamilton Whitman, who lived in Brazil and Colombia in the 1870s and 1880s while Bernard worked in South America as an engineer and street railway builder.

William A. Howard Letter on Edwin M. Stanton
William Alanson Howard (1813-1880) was a member of the US House of Representatives between 1855 and 1861. This collection contains one seven-page letter written by Howard in 1870 to Attorney General Ebenezer Hoar refuting suggestions of disloyalty made against politician Edwin M. Stanton in regard to his conduct near the outbreak of the US Civil War.

The broadside was created by Pulaski County Friends of Bill Fulbright for U.S. Senator and is titled, "This is a response to Adkins' Campaign of Hate." The broadside details Adkins' racial prejudice and Fulbright's opposition to it, as well as other key issues Fulbright supported.
