Homer Blaine Bledsoe Letter and Photographs, circa 1928-1943
This collection consists of a letter from Homer Blaine Bledsoe, North Africa, during World War II, to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Bledsoe, Morehead, Kentucky, 14 December 1943. He writes about receiving their Christmas package and working. There are seven photographs. Four are of Bledsoe during World War II, and two are childhood photos of him.
Maclin R. Milner Papers, 1929 - 1945
This collection consists of letters to and from Maclin (Mac) R. Milner. Most were written while he was a cadet at the Chemical Warfare Service at Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland. Most of his outgoing letters are to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Milner, of Indianapolis, Indiana. Many of his incoming letters are from his fiance (later wife), Mary. There is also a receipt for a 1936 high school military uniform.

One letter from Margaret Clairembourg of Belgium asks for news of Merle, and she hopes that "this war will be soon over, for you as for us!" Many letters are in French and Spanish.

This is a letter from J.L. Randall to an Army friend in Texas. He describes his living conditions in Australia and complains that all there is to eat is mutton. He also gives his friend advice about what to do if he gets shipped overseas. This letter shows evidence of government censorship, because some of the words have been removed. Randall complains about censorship in the letter.
