This collection consists of eleven letters from Wyndham G. Allen, United States Army, during World War II, to his sister, Francesca Allen, in Louisville and Covington, Kentucky. The dates of these letters range from 15 June 1941, to 16 April 1943. He writes about his daily activities, getting a furlough, being in Africa, and missing his family.
