Maclin R. Milner Papers, 1929 - 1945
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of letters to and from Maclin (Mac) R. Milner. Most were written while he was a cadet at the Chemical Warfare Service at Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland. Most of his outgoing letters are to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Milner, of Indianapolis, Indiana. Many of his incoming letters are from his fiance (later wife), Mary. There is also a receipt for a 1936 high school military uniform.

Biographical / Historical
Maclin (Mac) R. Milner, son of William F. and Emma Rivers Milner, was born on 22 December 1919 in Kentucky. He served in the United States Army during World War II. His enlistment date was 23 January 1942, at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana, and was later a cadet in Company C Regiment of Cadets at Edgewood Arsenal in Maryland. He died on 11 January 2008 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
