S.S. Amapala news bulletin
The collection contains a fragile news bulletin about the collision of the S.S. Amapala and the oil tanker Camden, on the Mississippi River, sixty miles south of New Orleans, on January 27, 1936.
It is possible, although not confirmed, that this is the same S. S. Amapala that was attacked in 1942 by a German submarine.
