Biographical / Historical

The son of William Thomas Norville and Anna O' Connor, Edward R. Norville was born on January 2, 1855, in Navy Cove, a community in Baldwin County, Alabama. Mobile, Alabama, city directories list Norville as a Lower Bay Pilot, a river pilot steering and towing ships through the waters near Mobile. Norville died on July 8, 1891, in Mobile.
