Abstract A collection of publications, pamphlets, reports and legal papers dealing with environmentalists' opposition to the construction of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers during the 1970s. It includes newspaper and magazine articles, Corps of Engineers reports, records of lawsuits filed, National Wildlife Federation publications, various environmental groups' newsletters, and etc.
