Biographical / Historical

Irwin Brooks Rutledge, son of Joseph Dela and Minnie Lee Burgess Rutledge, was born in South Carolina on December 31, 1888. He married Clara Taylor Hard. He was an assistant engineer with the Alabama Highway Department for several years. He died in Lillian, Alabama, on September 25, 1968.
