Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: The Documents and Memorabilia Subseries includes some “coins” paid to African American workers on the Henderson farm in Millers Ferry, Alabama, which in 1957 could only be used in the Henderson Brothers Commissary. The farm was owned by Alabama senator Bruce Henderson.
