Meat Regulations in 1818 Mexico Broadside
One broadside published in 1818, by Viceroy Juan José Ruiz de Apodaca y Eliza in Mexico City, Mexico, legislating the transportation, sale, and slaughter of meat by individuals and meat markets. The broadside dictates the animals and sexes that could be slaughtered, the weight and price of meat for sale, and sanitation practices for meat markets. There are two signatures and two ink stamps near the bottom of the broadside with some wear throughout the broadside.

Mexican Government Actions in 1828-1830 Broadsides
This collection of two broadsides contains printings of governmental actions taken in Mexico after gaining independence and before the Mexican War. The first broadside, published in 1828, is a Finance Commission update to taxes in Tamaulipas. The second broadside, printed in 1830, is a decree repealing restrictions placed upon Spaniards in Mexico. Both broadsides were printed by Samuel Bangs and are written in Spanish.

Mexican Revolution Broadsides
The collection consists of two broadsides printed in Mexico during the Mexican Revolution that honor Mexican independence and reiterate the need for land reform that acted as an impetus in the revolution.
Mexican War Broadsides and Letter
This collection contains three broadsides from Mexican government offices and one letter from an American during the Mexican War pertaining to decrees to raise funds, a decree in response to the Revolt of the Polkos, and the political tensions within Mexico surrounding the war. The broadsides are written in Spanish and the letter is written in English.

One photographic album of 88 photographs depicting daily life and scenery of various cities throughout Mexico and California during the late 18th century. The photographs were taken by multiple persons at various times, some are captioned. Some of the scenes shown are of busy streets and markets in Zacatecas, water carriers in Guanajuato, Mexico City street scenes, El Paso in Texas, and Los Angeles, California.
Mexico in 1929 Photographic Album
This collection of 22 sepia toned photographs from 1929 are of panoramas of Mexican cities documented by unamed American tourists. Photographs include views of city markets, cathedrals, railway stations, and daily life in Culiacan, Guadalajara, Querétaro, and Mexico City. All photographs measure approximately 3 1/2" x 10" and are captioned, with some also including dates between October 3 and October 17.

One photographic album containing 28 black and white photographs of daily life and scenery in Mexico during the 1920s. Some of the cities identified include León, Tepotzotlán, Chiapas, and Cuernavaca. Various daily life scenes include locals making crafts, farmers plowing land, pets and animals, and houses. About half of the photographs are captioned and all measure 5" x 7".
Mexico Mining Expedition in 1892 Photographic Album
A series of 14 cabinet cards measuring 4 ½” x 7 ½” depicting a probable amateur mining expedition in Santo Domingo, Chihuahua, Mexico in the late 19th century, approximately 1892. Contemporary captions are included on versos. Cards depict the group of men during their activities at the mine, camp, and during their transportation along with glimpses of surrounding daily life and landscapes.

Mounted Spaniard with Two Indios Illustrated Manuscript
One illustrated manuscript depicting a local elite, Don Carlos Guevara, and his family. The unknown author uses intensely vulgar language to express his disdain for Guevara, whose circumstances have recently changed and left him in poverty.
