Diary, 1862 - 1865
Contains a photocopy of a typescript of the diary Kenyon kept from early 1862, before he was taken prisoner, through 1864. The work also contains a bri copies of his Army orders and promotions through 1865. He provides fairly detailed descriptions of life as a prisoner of war in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and other southern cities.

The collection contains a transcription of a diary created by a Union soldier who served in Company H of the 124th Regiment of the Illinois Infantry and mustered out in 1865. The diary spans the years 1863-1865.
