It also includes an article, “Chronicles of the First Baptist Church,” by Tom Garner, clerk. The material is typescript, but pen and pencil annotations are seen throughout.

Scope and Contents note From the Collection: The collection contains a contract making Kate Beatty, a resident of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a member of the Birmingham Bridal Gift Association. This Association had annual dues and presented brides with a cash gift at the time of marriage.
