The collection is made up of originals and photocopies of a variety of documents from Camp Aliceville, the POW camp in Aliceville, Alabama, during World War II. Included are a "pocket" calendar for 1945, and a photocopy of a certificate for the second place winner of a race during the camp's Sportsfest in 1945. There are also letters home in German and a "Card of Capture for Prisoners of War", as well as a letter written to the mayor of Aliceville in 1947 by a former POW, asking for pictures of...
