The collection contains a souvenir postcard from 1906 with a University of Alabama embroidered UA pennant applique attached to it. The postcard was purchased by Frederick A. Elmore who played tailback for the Maryville College, Tennessee, football team in 1906 when Maryville College played the University of Alabama. Elmore gave the postcard to his girlfriend (and later wife) Annabelle Cox.
