A series of 14 cabinet cards measuring 4 ½” x 7 ½” depicting a probable amateur mining expedition in Santo Domingo, Chihuahua, Mexico in the late 19th century, approximately 1892. Contemporary captions are included on versos. Cards depict the group of men during their activities at the mine, camp, and during their transportation along with glimpses of surrounding daily life and landscapes.
