Norr from Russellville, Alabama, on January 8, 1844, and concerns the debts and land transactions of a Colonel Jones and James E. Jones. This letter was notarized on May 18, 1844, by Felix G. Norman. The letter by Richard Jones was written from Aberdeen, Mississippi, and dated January 18, 1844. It asks the recipient to "make such disposition of my business as you may deem proper ... ."...

This file contains the deposition of George Buckner, taken in the town of Hopkinsville, to be read in the Trigg County Circuit Court, Cadiz, Kentucky. The deposition was certified by Isaac H. Caldwell, examiner for Christian County, Kentucky. Buckner answers the court, certifying that certain papers and articles of agreement between William M. Buckner and John Mabry were correct and signed under his supervision.
