Martin, Pelican, Saw, and Planing Mills, in New Orleans. The letters discuss samples of cloth ("plaids") and molasses.

Scope and Contents This file contains a letter from Chester Walbridge in Toledo, Ohio, to Adolphus Kreamer in Hartford, Ottawa County, Ontario, inquiring about prices in a land speculation there and requesting repayment of money owed from a prior business transaction. Norr from Russellville, Alabama, on January 8, 1844, and concerns the debts and land transactions of a Colonel Jones and James E. Jones. This letter was notarized on May 18, 1844, by Felix G. Norman. George Buckner Deposition, 1851 December 20

Scope and Contents This file contains the deposition of George Buckner, taken in the town of Hopkinsville, to be read in the Trigg County Circuit Court, Cadiz, Kentucky. The deposition was certified by Isaac H. Caldwell, examiner for Christian County, Kentucky. Buckner answers the court, certifying that certain papers and articles of agreement between William M. Buckner and John Mabry were correct and signed under his supervision.
