John Norr and Richard S. Jones Letters, 1844
Scope and Contents
This file contains two letters on the same sheet of paper. The longer of the two was written by John A. Norr from Russellville, Alabama, on January 8, 1844, and concerns the debts and land transactions of a Colonel Jones and James E. Jones. This letter was notarized on May 18, 1844, by Felix G. Norman. The letter by Richard Jones was written from Aberdeen, Mississippi, and dated January 18, 1844. It asks the recipient to "make such disposition of my business as you may deem proper ... ." Both letters were addressed to the Honorable G. R. Freinson of Livingston, Alabama.
