This notebook contains a handwritten roster and regimental history documenting the service of Company I of the Fourth Virginia Volunteer Infantry. Also known as the "Liberty Hall Volunteers," this regiment consisted of a group of students from Washington College (later Washington and Lee University) in Virginia.
