Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection contains the first eleven chapters of a 1985 corporate history of the insurance company McGriff, Seibels and Williams, Inc. This 165-page typescript follows the company's development from the founding of its first partner company in 1886 to 1970, and it extensively documents the lives of company leaders. Although this draft was presented to the firm for review, the history was never published.
