The major part of the collection are the diaries, correspondence, and scrapbooks of Jennie B. Scott, along with those of her sister Mrs. R. C. Lee (Rosa, also known as Doll). There are also papers from Jennie's younger daughter Ruth Teresa Dokes of Tuskegee Institute, Alabama.
