Biographical / Historical

Lista Geil Eddins was born on 6 August 1882 in Ohio. She attended Denison Conservatory of Music and then taught at Central College and at Troy State Teachers College before becoming head of the Music Department at the University of Alabama, a post she held for twenty-four years. She married Harry Eddins. She died on 19 February 1971.
