From the Collection: This collection centers around the LGBT publication The Alabama Forum produced by editor-in-chief June Holloway. The collection also contains materials related to the LGBT community within and around Birmingham, Alabama. Materials include books, reports, letters, newspapers, magazines, rough drafts, and financial materials. These materials are divided up into four sections: administrative records, community involvement, newspaper production, and audio and visual materials. Administrative records pertain to financial and internal records, as well as letters to the editor. The community involvement records contain personal correspondence, political and community event information, as well as photographs. Newspaper production contains art and design elements as well as content and research files. Audio and visual materials contain floppy disks, film, and other visual materials.
