Six items including some military forms, a farewell address, and two copies of a portrait of Isaac D. Landis taken in July 1865. The Isaac D. Landis collection includes military documentation concerning the 9th Pennsylvania Cavalry created between November 1864 and September 1865.

General

One copy of a portait of Landis included a frame with an inscription on a wooden panel stating, "Taken July 27, 1865 ... after being mustered out of service. The smaller copy had a frame with a plate stating, "Fine Art Pictures and Framing; John Wanamaker; Philadelphia".
