Scope and Contents
One broadside published by Juan Vicente de Guemez Pacheco de Padilla Horcasitas y Aguayo, second Count of Revillagigedo's administration, and posted in Veracruz, Mexico, on 26 March 1791, decreeing new public health and sanitation regulations for food vendors. The regulations address how food vendor spaces need to be cleaned (swept daily, which days are garbage pickup days, etc.), how to dispose of different goods, and what items could be sold from home fronts.
The broadside measures approximately 17"x 12 ½," not including the laminated protective sleeve.
