Scope and Contents

This file contains nineteen letters or documents addressed to Roy Jones in Newton, Alabama, with copies of several of his replies. Almost all of the correspondence relates to the estate of Mittie K. Hayley, of which Jones was the executor. Included are official documents concerning the probating of the will, and several letters to and from the Home and Foreign Missionary Boards of the Southern Baptist Convention, to which Hayley made a sizeable bequest. The remaining correspondence is to Jones from an Olga Minshaw, concerning repayment of a debt owed to Jones.
