Scope and Contents

Letter written by Hope Murdock of Utica, New York, to her nephew, James Smith, of Buffalo, New York, apologizing for a previous letter and saying that "the parties concerned have concluded they were too young to make any engagements at present." She also tells him that she recently visited other family members and had good reports of everyone.
