Correspondence to and from Lavinia Austin of Hartford, Connecticut, written in the 1850s. The letters discuss Lavinia's upcoming wedding as well as various friends and family members. Several of the letters are from Katie (Katy) B. P., discussing daily life and many of their friends. One letter mentions her hope of hearing Jenny Lind in concert.
