Boyd Winchester Literary Addresses Scrapbook, after 1873
Scope and Contents
The scrapbook contains clippings of literary addresses from various publications. Most addresses relate to education. The owner created a table of contents, located on the first two pages, for the scrapbook. The scrapbook itself is a Mark Twain's Adhesive Scrapbook, patented in 1873 by Samuel Clemens. A label on the front cover most likely identifies Boyd Winchester of Louisville, Kentucky, as the owner of the scrapbook.
