Scope and Contents

This collection consists of a small, leather-bound book of the sort in which one would keep a diary. This, however, contains nothing more than entries recording the births of several children, all bearing the surname Winstel between 1858 and 1895. All the entries are in German. At the opposite end of the book is what appears to be a hand-drawn title page, illustrated with a guitar and flute, a book of music, and a vase of flowers. The script here is also in German.
