Biographical / Historical
Richmond Pearson Hobson was a Greensboro, Alabama, native, a United States Navy officer, and a US Congressman from 1907 to 1915. He received the Medal of Honor for his part in the Spanish-American War, during which he spent time as a prisoner of war in Cuba.
