Box 0614.058 contains seventeen out of a group of of thirty-four mounted photographs taken and signed by Ralph Hammond. These photographs were used in his Antebellum Mansions of Alabama. The group includes pictures of Thornhill (Greene County); Shorter-Upshaw Home (Eufaula); Dunklin Home (Greenville); Rosemount (Forkland, Greene County); Watts-Parkman-Gillman House (Selma); The Banks Home (Eutaw); Magnolia Grove (Greensboro); The Foster Home, Forks of Cypress (Florence); Belle Mina; Watkins-Moore-Grayson Home, Leroy Pope Home, Bibb Mansion, Oak Lawn (Huntsville); Gaineswood (Demopolis); Carlisle House (near Marion); Glennville Plantation (Glennville); Mount Ida (near Talladega); President’s Mansion, Gorgas Home (Tuscaloosa).
