Scope and Contents
From the Series:
The correspondence series includes letters to and from family members between 1857 and 1900. Three books included in the collection (Laura's Letters, Laura's and Her Children's Letters, and Laura's Family's Letters), are transcriptions of the letters center primarily around Laura and Bestor. All three books have been autographed by the author who also marked each letter with a code that corresponds to the letters that are in protective sleeves.
