Scope and Contents
Box 17 includes incoming correspondence to John S. Bickley from prominent United States and world leaders and their representatives. Notable items included in the collection other than correspondence include an autographed photograph of James B. Allen, United States Senator from Alabama, and an invitation to a Texas welcome dinner that was to be held in honor of President Kennedy and Vice President Johnson on November 22, 1963, the day that President Kennedy was assassinated.
The remainder of the boxes include unprocessed materials created and kept by Bickley. They contain both personal materials and those relating to the International Insurance Society.
