Scope and Contents note From the Collection: This collection contains the constitution, membership lists, articles of faith, rules of decorum, records of church activities 1843-1904, and church register, 1862-1935, giving lists of members and of pastors of this Methodist church in Northport, Alabama. The copies are of good quality, but the originals were in bad condition when they were copied. It is difficult to read some of the collection range from 1843 until 1935.

Scope and Contents note From the Collection: This collection contains two record books of the Union Baptist Church of Christ. Both of the books end in 1874, but one begins in 1839, the other in 1852. They include a church history, church record book index, meeting minutes, constitution of the church, a genealogy chart of Brenda Englebert, a plot map of Marengo County, a church index, and a member index, which reveals that it had a mixed-race congregation.

Scope and Contents note From the Collection: This collection contains a miscellany of late nineteenth century items pertaining to Perdue Hill, a community in Monroe County, Alabama, including "By-laws of Alabama Lodge No. 3," Perdue Hill, Ala., 1888; an 1887-88 commencement program from Perdue Hill High School, and a "Fourth Annual Announcement," also from Perdue Hill High School, 1889-1890, which in turn contains the school curriculum, a list of students, tuition costs, and other information.
