Scope and Contents The box contains forty-seven small photographs. There are thirty-nine albumen prints and nine tintypes. Most of the photos are cartes des visite (CDV). There are photographs of men, women, children, art objects (mainly busts and statues), ; and one small photograph of a building. Most of the images are unidentified but are presumably images of Mears family and friends. One CDV, however, identifies the subject as the Princess of Wales.
