The scrapbook is black and has a gold imprint of two African-American students on the front. The collection also contains Lovette Malone's high school diploma.

This collection contains one diary written by an unknown woman. The contents tell of her painful relationship with Burrwood, her lover. The diary is a black book and the writing is pink and red. Entries are written in the front and back sections only with a large portion in the middle left blank.

Scope and Contents The collection contains the five-year diary of Lizzie Miller of Nappanee, Indiana, dating from 28 February 1962 through 20 September 1965. In the diary are almost daily entries for the three year period.There is a note tucked inside the diary indicating that the diary is Lizzie Miller's, but there is no name on the inside cover. Since the diary is covered in a blue cotton-type fabric, if her name is on the cover there is no way to verify that without removing the fabric...
