Scope and Contents One photographic album containing thirty-two cartes de visite from the family of General Isaac M. St. John (1827-1880) of the Confederate States Army. Prior to the Civil War (1861-1865), St. John was a lawyer, newspaper editor, and civil engineer (a career he chose to resume after the war). The front cover is detached.
