Scope and Contents This collection consists of one pastcard from John S. Doucet of the 642nd Engineer Company (later the 642nd Camouflage Company) to his brother, Frank E. Doucet of Roxbury (Boston), Suffolk County, Massachusetts. In the postcard, written on February 13, 1945, he obliquely describes the action he has seen in the Philippines. He urges his brother to "keep the home fires burning" and finishes by saying "I'll try to speed up this war and get back to give you a hand."
