Content Description From the Collection: The collection contains a matted pen and ink drawing by E. W. Kemble titled Jack. The drawing, which shows a woman with a young boy on crutches, was used to illustrate Harry Stillwell Edwards’ short story “A Battle in Crackerdom,” that appeared in The Century in January 1892 (v. 43).
