Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection contains three early twentieth century ledgers for Jefferson, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa county businesses. Two of the ledgers are cash books from one individual or business most likely in Tuscaloosa Couty, Alabama, from 1908 through 1913. The first five pages of the third ledger lists the total amount of state and county taxes due for each disctrict of Pickens County for 1935.
