Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection contains the battle flag carried by Lumsden's Battery between 1861 and 1865. The flag is 41.5" high and 40" wide, with a red field (wool/cotton mix), superimposed by a dark blue cross (cotton), with 3 white stars (silk) on each arm of the cross. There is a yellow wool border around three sides of the flag with a white cotton board along the staff edge.
