The photograph album consists of forty-seven Cartes de Visite (CDVs) presented to Edward Maffitt Anderson, midshipman on board the CSSAlabama, by friends in Liverpool, England, in 1864. The album contains photographs of other Alabama crewmembers and three photographs of Anderson.
