Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection consists of eighty copy photographs. Originals were taken by the Farm Security Administration's photographers of Alabama agriculture and industry during the Depression. Primarily images of white and African American sharecropper families and homes, churches, schools, and farm scenes. Photographs were taken around Moundville, Eutaw, Selma, Scottsboro, Greensboro, and Birmingham, Alabama. Originals are stored at the Library of Congress.
