This collection consists of one ledger kept by the Elmore County, Alabama Jury Board from 1931 to 1935. The ledger lists all male citizens of the county between the ages of 21 and 65 (listed alphabetically by county beat), their occupation and addresses, as well as minutes of the meetings of the Jury Board.

Biographical / Historical

Elmore County is named in honor of General John A. Elmore and was established on February 15, 1866, from portions of Autauga, Coosa, Tallapoosa, and Montgomery Counties.
