Scope and Contents
This collection consists of newspaper clippings pasted into a scrapbook. The clippings are primarily essays and poems of the day. The front cover of the scrapbook has the initials “H.B.D.” in ink. The back cover has “H.B. Dugger.” A few of the clippings include the names of the newspapers: the Selma Daily Times and The Daily Messenger are included. There are also a few quotations from Shakespeare written in the scrapbook.
