H.B. Dugger scrapbook
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of newspaper clippings pasted into a scrapbook. The clippings are primarily essays and poems of the day. The front cover of the scrapbook has the initials “H.B.D.” in ink. The back cover has “H.B. Dugger.” A few of the clippings include the names of the newspapers: the Selma Daily Times and The Daily Messenger are included. There are also a few quotations from Shakespeare written in the scrapbook.

Collection is open for research. Researchers must register and agree to copyright and privacy laws before using this collection. H. B. Dugger probably lived in Alabama, possibly in the Selma area, during the Civil War.
